Poor Tipping

By Wynn Limousine
This is a great article about a server and how important tipping is. Some people do not understand that people who work for tips are not earning a large salary on top of tips. They are barely making an hourly wage and working primarily for tips. Some people, like servers, do not get to keep their entire tip, they have to share or tip out to others in the facility.

If you have ever worked for tips you understand the importance of tipping. In the limousine industry, chauffeurs work for tips. The industry standard is 20% of your total bill. Example: Your bill is $225 + 20% ($45) = $270 is the amount you should pay.

Some places include tips in the bill you should always ask to be sure that your server, chauffeur or whoever it may be is taking care of you. I know a lot of people will not tip more if the gratuity is included in the bill. If you think your service was awesome tip more. If your service was not so great, tip less. But tip something. Use 20% as a guideline for everyone who works for tips.
